Good Signs Sunday
It’s simple, really.
The only thing I need to do
as a parent,
my LGBT child,is accept.
Accept you
like I would if you were
short, or tall
brown eyed, green, or blue
blonde haired, or black.
My child, you aren’t broken
don’t need to be fixed.
All you need, my love
all you need is my love.
Beautiful!! Loving and accepting our children, nothing is more important than them KNOWING we do!
Beautiful.Just beautiful.
Beautifully said.
Thank you.
It’s (apostrophe) not Its. The rest is great!
Thanks! I should have caught that!
How lovely. If only it were something every single parent said and felt!
I hear you–if only.
Beautiful and strong. I never thought there’d be a day when I’d use these particular words to describe a poem.
Thank you. Being a parent to an LGBT child, I don’t understand those who do not accept.
