A single gay dad who cares. His story can be read here: http://www.imagaysingleparent.com/2013/02/02/rob/ and here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/01/31/rob-watson-gay-family_n_4689661.html
There’d be no Christianity either. Conservative Christians seem to forget how much Christ challenged and rebuked the religious legalism of His culture.
I also wrote something that you can also use and put a picture to if you would like…..it’s, ” Ignorance is only bliss for those that choose to remain ignorant, not for the ones who suffer because of that ignorance”
Thank you for this wonderful quote, Ono! Once upon a time, Jesus challenged authority and we got Christianity. Martin Luther challenged religious authority and we got Protestantism. Challenging religious authority, in general and on-the-whole, seems to be good for God.
I know the content is old now, and the “fresh date” for blogs is generally rather short, but Kathleen’s poem that she published in July should get this kind of pic-meme treatment!
Thank you Thomas. If you haven’t seen the movie about her and her gay son, I highly recommend watching it. I wish every Christian parent who has an LGBT in their family would watch it, it might prevent the tragedy that happened in Griffith’s family.
If she would like me to, I would be honored to put one of my photographs to her words.

Cool! I love that. Ok so I’ve got agreat quote for It’s a Good Sign, day. And a poem for just because day.
I would love for you to do your magic on my poem, Ono, and thank you Thomas for suggesting it!
